Vuelta de Bombo does not collect your data
Vuelta de Bombo is an offline rhythm game. It does not have a server, an account system, an analytics tool or an advertising network. Nothing you do inside the app is transmitted anywhere. Everything the app remembers is stored only on your own device and never leaves it.
What is stored on your device
To remember your progress between sessions, the app keeps the following locally, in a Core Data database and a small set of app settings:
- Your scores, star ratings and best runs for each tune and difficulty
- Coins earned and the drum paints, ribbons and hats you have unlocked or equipped
- Your favourite tunes, achievements and daily streak
- App settings — music, sound, haptics, timing offset and reminder preferences
- If you choose to use the colour mixer or photo medallion features, a small painted copy of a colour or photo you selected yourself
None of this ever leaves your device. It is not backed up to any server we operate, not shared with any third party, and not used for advertising or profiling.
Camera
The in-app Colour Mixer can use your device's camera to read the colour at the centre of the live camera preview, so you can mix a custom paint for your drum from a colour you point the camera at. The camera feed is only used live, on your device, to sample that colour. No photo or video frame is ever saved, stored or sent anywhere.
Photos
The Bombo screen lets you choose a photo from your library, through Apple's standard system photo picker, to paint a small medallion onto your drum. Only the single photo you actively choose is read. A small painted copy of it is saved inside the app's local storage on your device so it can be shown on your drum; the original photo is never modified, uploaded or shared.
Notifications
Vuelta de Bombo can send a local reminder about the day's featured tune. These notifications are scheduled entirely on your device using Apple's notification framework — no push server or third-party notification service is involved. You are asked for permission only when you turn a reminder on, and you can turn it off at any time in Settings.
No accounts, no ads, no tracking
The app has no sign-in, no in-app purchases, no advertising SDK and no analytics SDK of any kind. It does not track you across other apps or websites, and it contains no third-party software development kits that collect data. It works fully offline and has no need for an internet connection.
Children's privacy
Vuelta de Bombo does not knowingly collect any personal information from anyone, including children, because it does not collect personal information from any user.
Changes to this policy
If this policy ever changes — for instance if a future version of the app adds a new feature that touches your data — this page will be updated and the "last updated" date above will change accordingly.
